Why I Created Evolving Creatively

For more than twenty years, I've worked alongside jewelers and makers at nearly every stage of their creative lives.

And here's what I've learned: none of us gets to skip the messy middle.

The experiments that don't work.

The pieces we melt down and begin again, whether intentionally or not.

The strange humility of finding ourselves beginners again, even after years of experience and accomplishment.

The moments when life shakes the foundation, or the creative path we once envisioned no longer reflects the reality we're living.

We celebrate the dream, the breakthroughs, and the finished pieces.

We talk far less about what happens inside the learning curve. Inside the dream. In the thick of becoming whatever comes next.

That's where Evolving Creatively lives.

In the pivots, failures, questions, discoveries, and small adjustments we make before we know exactly where they're leading.

Together, we'll get honest about that part and explore how we maintain perspective, adapt with grace, trust what we've learned, and make more intentional choices about what comes next.

We don't always get to choose what changes. But we do get to choose how we meet it and what we create from here.
